Reinterpreted Scripture

Genesis, Ezekiel, the 'Ten Hypnotic Commands'.

The Claim

This file requires care, and it gets it. The book re-reads familiar scripture as prison-planet operations manual. Genesis 6's Nephilim become IS-BEs in biological bodies, exploiting the vacuum left by the Old Empire's defeat. Ezekiel's vision at the Chebar — wheels, fire, living creatures — is called "quite an accurate description" of an Old Empire scout craft. The Ten Commandments become the "Ten Hypnotic Commands," delivered to a Moses the book says was intercepted near Sinai by an Old Empire operative using hypnosis and stage tricks; "Yaweh" is said to mean "anonymous" — an operative who could not use a real name. [CLAIMED — all of it, and stated as the book's reading, never as finding.]

The Torah itself is described as "written, programmed and encoded" with false information, much of it under priestly control during the Babylonian captivity. The discipline for this file, stated once: the texts are real and sacred to billions; the book's version of them is not established history or theology.

The Verdict

case open

Two transparencies, held apart. Transparency one, verified: the biblical passages the book quotes are real texts, studied for millennia, sacred to billions. Transparency two, claimed: the book's overlay — operatives, hypnosis, encoded falsehoods. I never let the second borrow the first's weight, and I never mock the first to elevate the second. People of faith are in this audience; contempt would be both wrong and stupid. The testable edge is thin: the book's historical assertions can be set beside archaeology and textual scholarship. Where they meet, I say so. Where they don't — which is nearly everywhere — I say that too. CASE OPEN, handled with clean hands. What do you think? *wink*
