Engineered Biology
The Claim
The book's biology is a demolition job. Evolution by natural selection is "science fiction," it says — "a hypnotic lie instilled by the amnesia operation." No species evolves without IS-BE-supervised genetic manipulation; human bodies never evolved from apes. Instead, all life was manufactured by commercial biotechnology firms. Airl claims she once worked as a biological engineer for the Arcadia Regeneration Company, making mammals and birds for uninhabited planets — and that some 70 million years ago, after a galactic war, Arcadia restocked Earth. "What you see now on Earth is the huge variety of life forms left behind." [CLAIMED.]
The platypus, she adds, was a wealthy client's "special order." The discipline, stated plainly: the book's anti-evolution position is never presented here as a scientific finding or as "the other side" of a debate. It is unverified testimony, and on checkable science it fails often.
The Verdict
case openThe book made a prediction with teeth: because the creation technology is lost, extinct species cannot be replaced — de-extinction can't work. That is falsifiable, and I keep the receipt. Every mammoth-revival milestone, every thylacine-project advance, is scored against it. Verified meanwhile: the fossil record, genetics, observed speciation — the ordinary, overwhelming machinery of evolutionary biology. The book's 350,000 beetles are real beetles; "therefore design" is the whole argument, and the "therefore" is doing all the work. CASE OPEN, because the de-extinction bet is still on the table. But the table is tilted, and the tilt is visible from orbit. What do you think? *wink*
